more veggies please

today in fruits/veggies I had:

-salad (with red lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, wheat grass, and tomatoes; dressed with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar)
-tomato
-huge salad (with red lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, wheat grass, and tomatoes; no dressing)
-cooked carrots
-green smoothie (with carrot greens, carrot tops, cucumber ends, wheat grass, and homemade lemonade)

That is about 5 fruits/veggies.

I also had 3 1/2 homemade waffles with only 1/4 cup pure maple syrup, 1/2 grilled swiss sandwich on wheat bread, and delicious steak (that I marinated in balsamic vinegar and grilled.) For dessert I had a slice homemade oatmeal/chocolate chip bread (made with wheat I ground myself, added the chocolate chips for kids.)

I bit too much carbs, but they were all homemade and so delicious.

I met many of my food goals for today, except drank only 3 glasses water, not the 8 I am aiming for.
