Presidential Salary

The president earns a $400,000 annual salary, along with a $50,000 annual expense account, a $100,000 non-taxable travel account, and $19,000 for entertainment. He also has company car. His housing, utilities, and all health insurance are fully covered as well.

In addition, retired presidents now receive a pension based on the salary of the current administration's cabinet secretaries, which is $191,300 as of 2008. So he will be paid almost $200,000 until he dies. Including any other money he makes from future jobs, etc.

Is this too much? Or based on what he gives for our country is it not enough?

p.s. just googled President's 2010 tax return and his family actual made about $5.5 million, mostly from book sales. He paid about $1.8 million in taxes and gave away about $400,000 (his salary from presidency.)
