I want a rain barrel made from recycled plastic or something recycled. I think this will save on my water bill as last summer I was watering my garden every day.
how do rain barrels work? would buying a rain barrel like that one be different then say, letting a trash can fill up with water and using it to water the lawn?
Regardless, my HOA would probably have a collective heart attack if I ever tried it.
I like the one I saw better, it has suspenders to keep it on
ReplyDeleteNever even heard of one! kinda cool!

Whitney,
ReplyDeleteThe difference is in the spout at the bottom and a lid that collects water but keeps out debris.
I know people make them out of garbage cans and barrels, but I do not have tools to do such a thing (make spout hole, fit it, and seal it.)
The rain barrel having the spout at bottom ensures water does not get stagnet.
