I wonder how I can be so happy and excited yet be so sad at the same time. I miss Eric so much, but am happy about some things going on in my life.
I felt this way the day Joshua was born. I was so happy that I had another child, yet so sad that his dad was not there. That was the saddest moment of my life, until my cousin Cristie died 3 years ago, and now I am even more sad with the passing of my brother. Yet still I feel happy that my life is going ok.
It is a strange to feel two extreme opposite emotions so strongly at the same time.

I know it's hard but just accept things and move on, good things will come later on, I promise!

Aw Becky, I can really relate. I lost my stepmom and then 1.5 years later lost my brother. And DURING that time, had a wonderful gift of the healthy birth of our baby boy ...
I'm right there with you. ~hugs~
I miss my brother too. Email me anytime you want.
uuuggg! If your arm is cut off you will learn to function without your arm but you will go through alot of pain to get where you need to be healthy again. This can take years not just 3 months. We have had a person removed from our lives and unless you have been through it please do not suggest we just move on.
When you broke your ankle it took you weeks before you could even walk again, the pain was too unbearable. But slowly you got to where you could at least function. You still have problems with your ankle but you learn to live with it.
Healing takes time, we are in this together and only we as a family know what we are feeling
