Science Mini Camp

We did so many cool experiments today.
We made clay into boats that floated. We did magnet experiments. We mixed milk, food coloring, and dish soap to get a chemical reaction. We made slim (with borax, glue, and water) and cornstarch and water mix. We melted ice and had an ice toss. We watched Magic School bus Gets Planted. We learned about gravity with a fun game of dart tag. We felt the texture of trees by shaving cream painting them. We built towers with marshmallows and toothpicks. And we smelt and tasted mint plants (that are safe to eat.) The kids (11 total) had a blast. Plus the weather was super cooperative. It was overcast and cool until 2 so we were outside from 10-2. We ate snack and lunch outside as well.
